Looking to go paperless?
The paperless office is a great concept, but requires a very efficient scanner to get your paperwork onto the computer with the minimum of time and fuss.

Windows XP will be harder to get
As Windows Vista starts to become the preferred windows operating system for businesses, Windows XP will be harder to purchase with new PCs.

Larger or Dual LCD screens give you more screen real estate.
By using a large LCD screen you can work more productively. On a large LCD screen or Dual LCD screens you can keep your email open on one screen and your active work on the other. This allows you to have more applications visible at the same time, and also copy data between different programs. Great for data entry or graphics works.

Faster ADSL available
Telstra have recently upgraded the speed of their ADSL network to 8 MB download speed. As most Internet Providers (ISPs) resell the Telstra service this means that 8 MB ADSL should be available in your area. This will allow you to download and surf the internet faster than before.
In some lucky areas, other ISPs have installed ADSL2+ equipment so you can get a faster internet connection still.
