Phone I can’t sent email from my laptop?

The first thing we need to determine is of you use Exchange server from your office to send email or just straight out through your internet providers mail server. (POP)

The easiest way to check is firstly in Outlook what does it say in the bottom right hand corner of outlook.
If it says “Trying to connect to Echange” then you use Exchange from the office
Otherwise if it says “error Sending and Reciveing” you use POP.

You need to check that the internet is working. Can you see google.com if you open the browser (firefox, internet explorer)?
If you can are you in the office or out of the office?
In the office can you see the server network drives? Does “G drive” work?
If not there is a problem with the server.

Does Outlook say “Offline”? You will need to click on Offline and remove the tick next to work offline.
All will be fine as Outlook will switch to “Connected to Exchange”

Error Sending from POP
You need to check that the internet is working. Can you see google.com if you open the browser (firefox, internet explorer)?
